Winter in Tasmania

I looked out my window last night and the smoke just enveloped the town here and I thought how idiotic it is that many people are so complacent about woodheater smoke. No wonder the sickness, the asthma and heart disease. Perhaps also brain injury from lack of oxygen. There is no way one can open a window from 5pm, the air quality is corrupted by heaters.

I have just bought a $3,000 purifier that I cannot afford but I cannot endure the next 5 months without one. This takes my purifier tally to 5 now. I feel resentful about having to pay for cleaner air when people are happy to let their heater smoke into homes of others. If I wanted to smoke, I would buy cigarettes. When will people see the light or clean air so to speak!
