“If you can smell wood burning, you are breathing in harmful air pollution.”

This is a key message behind Clean Air Night, an awareness campaign organized by the UK’s Global Action Plan.

Taking place this year on Wednesday, January 22 the campaign is once again “shining a light on the uncomfortable truth about wood burning.” GAP state:

This Clean Air Night get involved by learning the facts about wood burning and how it harms your health and the planet, then share what you learn with your family, friends and community to spark conversations about the harms of wood burning and protect everyone's health.

We are official supporters of Clean Air Night this year, along with over 50 other organizations, councils, NHS trusts, and others.
